Job Description

As a Composites Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Assembly, fabrication, and repairs for composite components
• Manufacturing components to engineering specifications
• Tracking, recording, and documenting of work orders
• Maintaining a high level of workshop safety
• Chemical and material inventory management
• Working with design engineerings to evaluate designs for manufacturability

Criteria – Required

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working with various types of composites
• Ability to obtain a National Security Clearance. This requires candidates to be Australian citizens
• Ability to interpret manufacturing requirements from work orders and engineering drawings

Criteria – Desired

• Experience with composite design
• Experience working with international standards, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ASME Y14.5
• Experience working with design engineering to evaluate designs for manufacturability
